Starting off in her hometown of Nelson Bay, Helen entered the workforce in 1983 in Property Management, and continued in Real Estate for a further four years after moving to Newcastle in 1986.
Helen enjoyed a change of industry by moving into Lending with Newcastle Permanent Head Office for several years in 1989.
After having two daughters and concentrating on her own family business for a number of years, Helen entered the legal industry in 2002 and has been involved primarily in Property transactions ever since. Her keen interest in property and dedication to quality professional service and client rapport is her focus and has continued to benefit her clients over the years.
Having the experience of working in small and medium sized legal practices, the opportunities were forever present for Helen to establish secure relationships with clients and colleagues in the industry. This time has enabled Helen to enjoy the many aspects of assisting clients through some of the major milestones in their lives, including first home buyers making their first purchase, off-the-plan purchases of vacant land, strata properties or new dwellings, sales and purchases of existing properties either by Private Treaty or Auction, commercial transactions including Leases, high-end commercial acquisition through to Estate Planning and Administration of Deceased Estates.
Helen continually gains great satisfaction and experience in her role, fed by her love of property, the importance of interaction with clients and other parties affiliated by the transaction, ensuring the client’s transaction runs thoroughly and smoothly right through to settlement.
Helen is a Justice of the Peace in NSW and attained an Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing.
