Newcastle’s Keystone Lawyers wins Australasian Law Award

Newcastle law firm, Keystone Lawyers, has been named State/Regional Firm of the Year at the Australasian Law Awards held in Sydney overnight (23 May 2019).

Keystone’s founder and Principal, Lou Stojanovski said the award is a credit to his hard-working team of experts who are passionate about getting the right result for their clients.

“At Keystone, we believe that our client’s success is our success,” Mr Stojanovski said.

“Keystone may be regionally based but we provide advice and service as good as anywhere in Australia,” he said.

“For our Newcastle firm to be recognised as the best in the country is very satisfying.”

More than 650 people from across Australia attended the black-tie Awards Gala at The Star in Sydney.

There may be a need for more space in the trophy cabinet with Mr Stojanovski also named a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards in the category of Construction and Infrastructure Law. He is the only Hunter based lawyer to make it as a finalist in the Partner of the Year Awards. The winners will be announced on May 30 at a ceremony also at The Star.

The award caps off a big year for Keystone. It opened a Sydney office and Mr Stojanovski also launched the Australian Security of Payments SOPA Toolbox App, designed to help people in the construction sector to more easily navigate payments.

Keystone Lawyers is a Newcastle based commercial Law Firm, specializing in construction, engineering, mining, commercial, development and property law.
